Welcome to the forum, We understand that some cachers are all about those numbers. The number of finds, the number of hides and so on... well, we get that! We have added a custom option on your account to add Finds and Hides to your profile: To add your Finds and Hides, please select "Profile" (top banner), then select "Edit Profile" and select "Personal". Scroll down until you find "Finds" and "Hides" to enter these details. You can us this to show off your numbers for all and let them know where you are with finding the millions of caches around the world. Please remember this is not linked to your caching account, so you will need to manually update these numbers if you want to reflect your current stats (although we will see if this can be automated in the future). This is fully optional, so if you do not feel like sharing, or only want to share one item, you are more than welcome to choose what you want to share. Disclaimer - This is totally honor based, there is no incentive to lie or fake those numbers. For those who are finding dozens a day, you are also welcome to use general numbers like 10,000+ finds. This helps to avoid having to update daily. Enjoy the little features and we will be sure to add more down the line as the site continues to grow. Thank you, Daniel - GeocachingFora Community Management

Upgrade your profile version 2.0, now with "verified cacher" status!
That's right. As soon as you have created your account, you can request to become a verified cacher. This lets others know you already have a geocaching account and ready to go get some caches. If you are still new and have not set up your account yet, no worries. Request to join once you have set up your free geocaching account.
To get this status added to your profile, simply go to the "profile" page, select "Groups" and then select "Request to Join". Once your request has been reviewed, your account will be updated to reflect the new status.
We also added a "Geocaching Guide" for those who have a history of helping others, teaching geocaching to 'muggles' and those who regularly advocate for geocaching in their community. If you feel you qualify for this, you may request it as well and we will contact applicants for verification.
Many more features, updates and improvements are on the way. This is just a small taste of what we have in store.
