Germany have no cybersecurity training program in place in their organization. This figure is much higher than the global average (11%), and than in France (1%) and the United Kingdom (10%). “One of the attitudes identified that should be reconsidered is letting compliance dictate security standards when in fact these standards should aim to provide a higher level of protection. For example, the study found that 29% of organizations had informal, as-needed training programs focused on meeting compliance needs. It is likely that organizations that take a more holistic approach in this or other areas are better able to combat security threats.”
